Auto Muzeum Jan & Maciej Peda
The origins of our museum date back to the late 1960s. At that time my Father, Jan Peda spotted a Studebaker standing in the bushes near Smigel and developed a passionate affection for it. In 1970, the love could be called fulfilled or "consummated" - Father acquired the car of his dreams. He immediately took to work hard and later that year was at the first rally of antique vehicles in Warsaw...and so it began. When I was born in 1971, I was already hereditarily burdened with this love for "old iron" of all kinds.
By the end of the 1970s, our collection was already so extensive that Father had to build a museum hall. The 1990s saw the expansion of the spectrum of our interests to include steam engines, old agricultural equipment and aircraft parts.
